$5,000 to fuel your mission and amplify your impact

This grant is unrestricted, flexible funding to use where you need it most. Whether it's hiring support to expand your capacity, investing in equipment or inventory, launching an initiative you've been planning, or giving yourself the financial breathing room to focus on growth – you decide how to put this money to work.

We trust you to know what your business and community need. Let us know how $5,000 will help you do more of what's already working or take the next step you've been waiting to take.

Eligibility

To enter, your business should:

  • Be a for-profit or non-profit entity based in the United States

  • Have 30 or fewer full-time employees

  • Have earned less than $5 million in revenue in 2025

  • Have an active website or social media presence (this helps our judges learn more about your work and verify your community impact)

Timeline

Here’s what to expect throughout the grant cycle:

  • Kickoff: February 4, 2026

  • Submission deadline: March 31, 2026 at 11:59pm EST

  • Winners notified: Between April 13, 2026 and April 30, 2026

Celebrating small businesses that put community first

Small businesses are the hearts and engines of our nation. They employ our neighbors, revitalize our streets, and tackle challenges that others overlook. The create opportunities where none existed, serve populations that have been underserved, and prove that a business can be both sustainable and mission-driven.

We launched the Mona Impact Grant to provide funding support for one founder who puts community first. We’ll also highlight the Top 50 Small Businesses across industries on social media for the impact they’re creating every day.

Three Little Ducks

Founded by Dr. Suma M., Three Little Ducks is a pediatric health and development company based in Oahu, Hawaii, operating the island’s largest pediatric physical therapy practice and serving a community of one million people. Its work spans pediatric physical therapy, speech-language pathology, baby and toddler developmental classes, community programming, and a preventive digital platform grounded in years of real-world clinical observation and family feedback.

  • You are eligible to apply for the Mona Impact Grant if:

    +You own or are authorized to represent a for-profit or non-profit organization based in the United States

    +Your organization has 30 or fewer full-time employees

    +Your organization had less than $5 million in gross revenue in 2025

    +Your organization has an active website or social media presence

    We encourage applications from a diverse array of small businesses in terms of industry, region, and type of impact created. Hope you’ll apply!

  • The submission deadline for the Mona Impact Grant is March 31, 2026 at 11:59pm EST.

  • The award funding can be used for any legitimate organizational purposes that you outline in your grant application. Strong applicants will demonstrate how their use of the funding will advance the impact they make in their communities.

  • Our panel of external judges will review each application carefully and evaluate using the following criteria:

    +Purpose & Vision: Clarity of the organization’s mission, the problem it addresses, and how effectively its story and goals are communicated.

    +Community Impact: The organization’s demonstrated impact on the community or population it serves.

    +Impact of the Award: The extent to which receiving the award would meaningfully advance the organization’s work, team capacity, or community impact.

  • Yes – all entrants will be notified about their status with correspondence to the email they include in their application. Notifications will sent in late April.

  • Mona is a small business funding co-pilot that connects small businesses to affordable loans, grants, and government funding. We’ve seen how hard it can be to get funding because entrepreneurs often don’t know what’s out there, don’t know who to trust, or don’t have someone to support them throughout the process.   • No, you do not need to be a Mona user or member to enter (any relationship with Mona will have no effect on our external judges). Of course, we’d love to partner with you if you’re interested!
